“When you capture the personalities of people you work with on video, you’ve moved beyond the “talking about yourself” stage to demonstrating your capabilities.”

Around this time of the year is where businesses’ online marketing efforts starts to get stale and boring. Their online posts (and networking pitches) become less meaningful and more repetitious. But how do you keep it fresh?

We always tell our clients to utilize video testimonials as much as they can and this would be a perfect time to do so. It’s always refreshing for your audience to see and hear other people’s perspectives on your services or products.

Not all your testimonials need to be as complicated as the one above. They just need to be told from a consumer’s point of view.

It never hurts, especially for us business owners, just to hear how impactful our services has been to our clients. Testimonials are a great way for the world to know what we our doing, but more importantly, it’s a great way to confirm what we are doing. We personally need to boost our confidence during this stale period just as much as our business needs it.

If you ever want to kick your testimonial up a notch, include additional footage (or B-roll) to enhance your story. Or (we strongly suggest it) just have us take care of the whole production from top to bottom!

Tip:

People have become so used to using this kind of “Social Proof” to make decisions in purchasing goods or services; more than 80% of people say they trust online reviews just as much as recommendations from acquaintances. The more you can do to make your testimonials relatable, the more effective they will become.

Your audience craves video. Your business needs video. We’re here to make that decision easier for you. Give us a call, 678-744-3908
