Top 3 Tips for A Successful + Safe Video Shoot during COVID-19
As we all try to navigate this world amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, everything we do must be with the utmost consideration of the safety of everyone involved. That’s why at TC Productions, we’ve developed very clear and strict policies with the success and safety of our clients and crew at the forefront. Here are 3 tips on having a successful and safe video shoot during these unprecedented times.
First, simply abide by all CDC guidelines by ensuring there are the correct amount of people in the space at all times, wearing a mask at all times unless on camera and actively speaking, and remaining six feet from other people. We’ve all gotten very accustomed to these protocols, but it is still vital that we remain diligent in following them on set.
Second, try practicing your script thoroughly the day before the shoot so that the shoot moves along smoothly and quickly. The less takes you have to do means less exposure and less time on set.
Finally, get a COVID-19 test, if that’s available to you. In order to prevent spread, it would be ideal to ensure no crew or client unknowingly brings the virus to set. While not mandatory, it is highly recommended that you get tested before coming to set.
